ABOUT ME
My name is Anisha Thampy, and I am currently working as a full-time ceramic artist and designer.
I am a visual designer by profession and a lifelong learner. I am always on a quest for the deeper meanings and philosophies behind everyday concepts that we often take for granted, yet that profoundly affect and shape our society. I started as a graphic designer and, over the years, transitioned into graphical user interface design. Through the years, I was part of teams that conducted design research and UX design, which helped me realise my deep interest in cultural anthropology, behaviour studies and psychology. It made me more empathetic towards the users I need to design for.

I hold a Master's in Communication Design from NID, Ahmedabad, India and a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. I have previously worked with some of the leading design services companies in India, including Tulika Books, Lopez Design, Philips Design, Samsung Design, Quicksand and Thoughtworks on a variety of exciting projects. The varied spectrum of works has enriched and enhanced my design thinking, enabling me to understand, interpret, and approach projects holistically.
