About me
My name is Anisha Thampy, and I’m a designer and artist based in Colchester, UK.
I work as a visual designer and consider myself a lifelong learner. I’m always curious about the stories, ideas, and everyday systems that quietly shape how we live. I began my career in graphic design and gradually moved into UI and UX, where I worked closely with teams exploring design research, user behaviour, and human needs. This journey deepened my interest in cultural anthropology, art, design, and how people learn, and it continues to influence how I design with empathy, context, and meaning in mind.
I hold a Master’s in Communication Design from NID Ahmedabad and a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of design studios and organisations in India, including Tulika Books, Lopez Design, Philips Design, Samsung Design, Quicksand, and Thoughtworks. These collaborations exposed me to diverse ways of thinking and problem-solving, helping me develop a flexible, holistic approach to design.
