My name is Anisha Thampy and I am a visual designer by profession and a learner by habit. I am always in a quest for deeper meanings and philosophies of everyday concepts that we take for granted but that affect and shape our society. I started off as a graphic designer and through the years moved towards graphical user interface design. Through the years, I was part of teams that conducted design research and UX design which helped me realise my deep interest in cultural anthropology, behaviour studies and psychology. It made me more empathetic towards the users I need to design for.

I hold a Masters in Communication Design from NID, Ahmedabad, India and a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. I have previously worked with some of the leaders in design services in India like Tulika Books, Lopez Design, Philips Design, Samsung Design and Quicksand on a variety of exciting projects. The varied spectrum of works has enriched and enhanced my design thinking, giving me the capability to understand, interpret and approach projects holistically.
